Responsibilities
Assignment A:
- Assisted modify certificated education materials of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) for Caribbean small hotels' application. The result is a programme of line rooms and food & beverage training for caribbean small hotels - certificated by the AH&LA.
Assignment B:
- Developed and facilitated two several days' workshops for delivery to Caribbean based coordinators of the OAS Small Tourism Enterprise Project and Caribbean small hotel owners. These are: "An Approach to Food and Beverage Management for Caribbean Small Hotels" and "Management Tools for Operating Performance Improvement (for Caribbean Small Hotels)".
Assignment C:
- In conjunction with the AH&LA, modified OAS owned caribbean small hotel owner/operator workshop materials so that a certificated programme can be delivered throughout the Caribbean region. This is still a "work in progress", with an expected launch of late 2003. Over the long term it is an OAS priority to have this programme certificated by the AH&LA.
