Responsibilities

  • Apartment unit rental marketing
  • Business planning, operating budgets, controls development
  • Furniture, furnishings and small wares purchasing
  • Coordination between architect, contractor, interior decorator and owner

  • Staff and opening management team recruitment and policies
  • Staffing up for opening and employee training

 PINKERTON LODGE

- An upscale 16 room floating salt water sport fishing lodge marketed on an "all inclusive" basis located off the west coast of Vancouver Island.

 TAYMOUTH CASTLE HOTEL RESORT

Taymouth Castle Perthshire, Scotland

- A privately owned 300 acre estate which includes a village, two miles of salmon fishing rights on the River Tay, one of Britain's class "A" listed castles, public golf course and 24 room Kenmore Hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Interim operating management of the hotel, golf course and salmon fishing
  • Review of hotel operating practises for compatibility with business priorities
  • Development of business plan and hotel operating standards for ease of execution by the general manager as well as performance monitoring by the on-site owner representative Interior of Castle
  • Search, recruitment, induction of new hotel general manager
  • Board reporting
  • Preparation of various studies in preparation for assembling a joint venture partner package for estate development purposes
  • Business valuation of the castle, hotel, salmon fishing and golf course to establish owner equity position
  • Search for and interviews of prospective joint venture partners
